The STIHL SH 86 petrol vacuum shredder is designed for versatile shredding and blowing applications and is ideal for long periods of use on large areas. Private users and professionals alike can enjoy powerful support from this efficient petrol leaf vacuum, which offers both a suction and a blower mode. The tool is powered by a STIHL 2-MIX engine, which also offers a high level of working and operating comfort. This begins as soon as you start the engine of the STIHL SH 86: the STIHL ElastoStart feature uses an integrated damping element to prevent jerky load peaks when starting. The manual fuel pump of the leaf vacuum also helps save your strength as you work. Thanks to the infinitely variable speed control, you always have exactly the power that the STIHL SH 86 vacuum shredder needs to complete the task at hand. The infinitely variable throttle lever can be locked with the stop button. The tool also offers ergonomic one-handed operation with a soft grip zone.

While working in garden beds or corners where leaves are difficult to blow away, the STIHL SH 86 vacuum shredder allows you to effectively vacuum and directly shred the plant matter. The star-shaped shredder made ofhigh-quality steel ensures that cuttings are shredded into small pieces. These are sent directly to the 45 l collection bag of the SH 86 petrol leaf vacuum. For particularly dusty applications, you can also retrofit the dust-reducing collection bag for the SH 56 and SH 86, which also has a capacity of 45 l.

For use in blower mode, the tool is equipped with a flat nozzle and a round nozzle as standard. A curved flat nozzle is also available. Thanks to these features of the STIHL SH 86 leaf vacuum, you can use the blower function to remove larger quantities of leaves conveniently and effectively over longer periods of use. The optional STIHL gutter cleaning set can be used with a 3 m long blower tube to remove dirt and leaves from gutters. When using the tool in blower or shredder mode, the STIHL anti-vibration system protects your muscles and joints.

INFINITELY VARIABLE LOCKING CONTROL SWITCH

FOR COMFORTABLE HANDLING. The control switch can be locked in any preferred position between idling and full power. This is particularly helpful for longer periods of use. It is easy and convenient to adjust, as your hand always stays on the ergonomically shaped handle.
LOCKING THROTTLE TRIGGER WITH STOP BUTTON
COMFORTABLE ADJUSTMENT OF BLOWING FORCE. The throttle trigger can be used to adjust the engine performance and as such the usable blowing force. You can adjust the engine output between idling and full power on an infinitely variable basis. The throttle trigger always remains in your preferred position. A brief thumb press on the stop button is sufficient to switch off the power tool. The blower remains immediately ready to be used again.
STIHL 2-MIX ENGINE
HIGHLY POWER-EFFICIENT. With the STIHL 2-MIX engine, you can reduce exhaust emissions and fuel consumption, and therefore operating costs. This 2-stroke engine is low-maintenance and uses fuel efficiently even at high power levels. Use a mixture of petrol and engine oil as fuel. The STIHL 2-MIX engine complies with the strict EU Stage V emissions directive.
